Pura vida!

Well, the last week I've been first to Puerto Viejo de Talamanca! A really relax place (but very touristy) at the Caribean sea. Lots of reggae-music, marihuana, rasta-men, palmtrees, blue/green sea, (American) tourists etc.
At the place were we stayed was an 'hammock hotel', had to try that I thought! But unfortunately, I couldn't sleep to well... The day after we rent a bike and cycled to another place nearby Puerto Viejo. We were very lucky, it was soooo incredibly sunny and I got my tan back just in one day! When we arrived at that place, we checked out some of the beaches, really nice! Swam in the sea, relaxing on the beach and cycle back again! In Puerto they got a place where you can eat and they play very good movies too, perfect for me! The following night I slept in a normal dorm, better!

On Monday Jakob left for Panama and I went to another place, Cahuita. It's a very small town, less undeveloped, and in the beginning I thought, less touristy too. I went to the cheapest hostel and turned out to be the only guest there! Wow, that was weird. So I explored the beach there, taking my time, relaxing a bit and ended up with talking to this local guy who wanted to be my guide the next day for the National Park! That evening the hostelowner cooked for me, really cute! I went to a bar where I was supposed to meet 2 Dutch girls I met earlier in Tortuguero. Wow, in the evening I realized how touristy Cahuita was too! But still, I liked it better than Puerto. It was quite strange to be at the Caribean, with the sun, beach etc., reggae music everywhere and then to see the christmas-trees everywhere! In the bar I even heard Xmas-songs in reggae!!!

The next morning I went snorkeling, it was so beautiful down in the sea! Saw a lot of different coral, lots of fishes!!! It was like swimming in this big aquarium, can't wait to begin with my diving!!!
That afternoon I went hiking in the National Parque, didn't have to pay any entrance or anything, coz that local guy knew the people of the park, handy!!! But unfortunately it was raining a lot (still the raining season at the Caribean) and we didn't see many animals. But anyway, it was fun!
That day two people arrived in the hostel and I wasn't the only one anymore. Went out for dinner with them and the next day I travelled with a Swedish girl Linda (lot of Swedish people here too!) back to San Jose.

Yesterday we went to the volcano Poas, near San Jose. The weather in San Jose was okay, but when we came nearer to that volcano, it began to rain and it was really cloudy. So when we actually arrived at the volcano we couldn't see anything but white fog! There is a beautiful lake in the crater of the volcano, but too bad...
Today I went exploring San Jose and relaxed. Tomorrow I'll be on the bus to Honduras. Hopefully I will reach the island to dive on Monday!
