Cities: Singapore and Kuala Lumpur

The diving at Pulau Tioman was amazing! The visibility was so much better than the Perhentians, and ofcourse it was nice to dive together with my sister!
On the diveboat we met some great people: Laila and Sofian from Kuala Lumpur. We had dinner together with them on our last day at the island and changed phonenumbers so we could meet again when we were going to KL.
After Pulau Tioman: Singapore! Wow what an amazing city, totally the opposite of the very mellow Tioman, but how I loved it! Our parents were in Singapore as well that moment, so we had dinner together with them. They stayed at this 5 star hotel, we at a very cozy backpackershostel in Little India. One with aircon actually! The days in Singapore we just hung around, eating, walking through Chinatown, Little India, Botanical Garden, Colonial Districts, such a vibrant city!

Our last city was Kuala Lumpur. On our way to the city Laila already textmessaged us if we've arrived yet and what our plans were. Well, not any plans yet... So they took care of us in KL, showing us around. Bringing us to the Arabic district for some really good food and shisha smoking. Went together for some shopping in big malls, taking us to the place where the best Nasi Lemak is served and ending our night in a bar at Bukit Bintang! How lucky we were to have met them!
The big cloud of volcanic ash was already on his return, so we flew back to the Netherlands last weekend... Wouldn't have mind to stay there longer actually, had such a good time!
