Paradise, Adv. Diver, jungle trekking Taman Negara

Hey! Here a message from the Tioman Island!
After Penang we went to the Perhentian Islands, where we were reunited with Janne, and two friends of Carmen: Meta and Marije.
Janne and Carmen did the Open Water Diving course, and I did my advanced! Very proud to say that I'm an advanced diver now!
The Perhentians were paradise indeed! Imagine: snow white beaches, crystal clear blue water, friendly people, relaxing atmosphere... Wow!
I did my diving course mostly with my buddy Eduardo from Spain, a very funny guy. We hang around with him and his sister Maria, who was doing her open water course, a lot and had so much fun.
After my course and ofcourse certificate I went snorkeling with Meta and Marije for a day and really sunburned my ass! Wow, that was annoying! But the snorkeling was really nice as well, saw some seaturtles, reefsharks, lots of fishes, nice coral. I also did a nightdive, which was quite an experience! My sense of direction sucks big time, but underwater and in the dark it's like 100000 times worse! Good to had that experience, but I'm not sure if I would do it again soon.

On Sunday we left the Perhentian Islands for the Jungle Taman Negara.
We did a jungle trekking of 2 days, one night. We didn't see a lot of animals though, but the trekking through one of the oldest jungles in South East Asia was good. The animals we saw were: monkeys (in the boattrip to the jungle), wild boar, lots of insects and lots of leeches!!! We all got our blood cleaned by leeches! They were just everywhere! But hey, good experience as well. We spend the night cooking/ 'sleeping' in a big cave! You can see some pictures on my Facebook, apparantly Marije updated her Malaysia album, check it out!
After an exhausting jungle trek we decided to take a rest on an island.
So yesterday we travelled the whole day to another island which was said to be beautiful aswell: Pulau Tioman. And yes, they were right again! So again, relaxing and tomorow dive again! But now together with my sister Carmen and Janne!
Sunday we will leave this Island for Singapore!
