Dengue?!?!?!?!?!

The last week I was feeling totally not okay, so I decided to go the doctors on Friday. Did some bloodtest, result: Dengue!!! But fortunately I got the mild form of Dengue, it's called dengue classico. The dengue hemoragico is way more dangerous! Lillian was feeling sick on Friday, so on Sunday she went to see a doctor too, coz she had the same symptoms as I do, and yes, she's got dengue classico too!
So, now we just have to rest a lot, drink a lot, which is not a very hard thing to do, coz we both feel like all the energy has left our body...

Last weekend we went to Granada, a beautiful colonial town near Masaya, it's so great overthere! The buildings are beautifull, is much more cleaner and more spacier than Masaya, it's by the lake Nicaragua. There is this parque by the lake, full with playgrounds, restaurants, bars, palmtrees, it's beautifull. We didn't swim in the lake though, since it looked kinda dirty...
We stayed over in the hostel the Bearded Monkey, I can really recommend it to everybody who is planning to stay over in Granada. It's a nice, big, clean hostel with a garden in the center, a lot of hammocks to chill out in (love hammocks!!!), there's this bar, restaurant, pooltable, place where they play movies every evening, and it's quite cheap too!!! If I had to chance, I would have stayed longer overthere!!! That night it was the night before halloween, so there were a lot of parties where you paid like 8 euro entry and drink for free whole night long!!! But instead of that, we chose to go to another bar, without entry, but with a live-band, which was really okay too!
On Friday there was this sort of Halloween here in Masaya too, a lot of children dressed up like monsters and trying to scare everybody! Some were just too cute!
On Sunday we returned to Masaya for another event. I don't know exactly what kind of event it was, sort of a gay parade??? There were a lot of men dressed up like women, acting like women. A lot of gay people too, wow, they can dance!!!!!

It's quite tranquilo in the hospital, most of the time we don't actually have anything special to do, although it's still interesting to see how the doctors and nurses work. On wednesday we were allowed to see an operation of a hernia inguinalis grade IV. It was quite interesting, but it took a long time, and at this moment I was sick already, so I couldn't help the doctor with the operation............ Hopefully next time?
Yeah, well and after wednesday I didn't do much besides a lot of sleeping and go the hospital to check my blood again.

Today is the first day that I'm feeling a bit better, maybe I'll try to work tomorrow again...
