It's snowing!!!

Hey peeps, it's me, just one more time!
When I was on the plane from Mexico City to Madrid, I didn't feel sad or anything, coz I still a small trip ahead of me!
I arrived at the airport of Madrid and took the metro to the center where I started the selfguided walking tour in downtown Madrid, made by Hector (eres un cariño, sabes!). Wow, it was so cold that morning! It was minus 4, and I didn't have any winterclothes or anything! But, had to do it anyway! So I saw the national palace, lots of beautiful plaza's, had a huge breakfast and ended my selfguided tour in the huge park Retiro. By that time, the wheather was a bit better fortunately, about 7 degrees, pfew!
And then, back to the Netherlands, spend a couple of days at my parents house, was good to see them and my sister again. Yesterday I arrived in my studentflat, nice to see my housemates again, looking forward to see the rest of my friends here.
But it is a bit strange, everything is still the same, like I had never been away...
Right now it is snowing, freezing cold and there is a flu epidemy going on in the Netherlands. So I bought lots of vitaminpills, orangejuices, yes I'm protected!
To all of you who are still travelling, enjoy your time as much as you can, while you still can!
Zach: it was good to see you again in the last week of my travel, you were one of the first people I met, and one of the last I spoke with during my travel. See ya next year in Europe.
Ana, Sophie, and Lillian: have fun in South America, maybe you will meet up again, you never know!
Natalie: enjoy your time in Mexico and the States, sorry I didn't have time to visit you in Mexico. Pero talvez vayamos a vernos en Europa un dia?!
Hector: still enjoy reading your stories and adventures on your amazing website! Enjoy your time and keep in touch! Besos...

Glad you enjoyed my town under the bitting chill. You gotta come back to Spain in summer time when everything blooms up! Get busy yourself and send me an Amsterdam walking tour!

what a great little post-latin-american trip treat...a tour of madrid! and hey, i saw you just use el subjuntivo...que impresivo!! your spanish must've improved since the last time i saw you, because you didn't use it before!
i know exactly what you mean about everything feeling as though you never left. eerie, eh? hope you adjust to life at home smoothly, and do keep in touch.

Hey Karen!! zat ff te spieken op je site!! Is alweer een tijdje geleden dat je wat hebt geschreven.. wordt toch tijd voor een nieuw verhaaltje vind je ook niet? ;) Met je nieuwe adventure in het vooruitzicht!! Wieewww het wordt gaaf!! ga nu weer ff verder met reis-regel-stressen :)
